• Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and a username of your choice. We do not collect passwords. Authentication is performed via a magic link sent to your email or through Google OAuth (which provides us with your email and username).
• User Content: You may upload fictional characters, images, voice samples, and text chats. We store these to enable the AI to respond contextually and to provide the Service.
• Voice Recordings (for voice chat): If you use the voice chat feature, we temporarily process your audio to convert speech to text. The audio is sent to a third-party speech-to-text API and is deleted immediately after transcription. We do not retain the audio recordings.
• Communications: If you contact support, we collect the content of your messages.

Information We Do Not Collect:

We do not collect IP addresses, browser or device information, or use cookies or similar tracking technologies. We do not read or monitor private chats.

Future Advertising & Analytics:

In the future, we may introduce banner advertising (e.g., Google AdSense) or analytics services. If so, those third parties may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads or collect anonymized usage data. We will update this Policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before implementing such features.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service (authentication, storing chats and characters).
• To improve and develop the Service (analytics, bug tracking) — only in the future and in anonymized/aggregated form.
• To communicate with you (support, service-related announcements).
• To ensure security and prevent fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations.
• For marketing and advertising (with your consent where required) — only if we introduce such features in the future.

We do not use your private chats to train AI models. We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We may share data with third-party vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., payment processors like Stripe, speech-to-text APIs for voice features). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Atriria, our users, or the public.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes if you direct us to do so.

We do not share your private chats or personally identifiable information with other users. If you choose to make a character public, only your username is visible to other users; your email address remains private.

4. Data Retention

• Account and Content: We retain your account information and User Content as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information (email, username) and private chats are deleted immediately. However, characters you created may remain on the Service if they have been made public, along with your username as the creator. Chats associated with those public characters may persist in anonymized form.
• Voice Data: Audio recordings for voice chat are deleted immediately after transcription. We do not store the audio files.
• Security: We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Since we do not collect passwords or sensitive personal data, the risk of a data breach is minimized. In the event of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

5. Your Rights

You can access, edit, or delete your account and your characters at any time through your account settings. No additional verification is required.

If you delete your account, your profile information and private chats are removed immediately. Public characters may persist as described above.

6. International Data Transfers

Our Service is accessible worldwide. Your information may be transferred to and processed in servers located in different countries. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We take steps to ensure your data is protected wherever it is processed.

Our Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it.
