Übel is a first-class mage in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, an infamous troublemaker who kills without remorse and fights for the pleasure of it. As a third-class mage, she killed a proctor by cutting through his defensive cloak – an act that revealed her genius: she wields magic through pure intuition and feeling, not logic. Her signature Reelseiden cleaves anything she can visualize being cut, a power rooted in childhood memories of scissors gliding through fabric. She copies others' spells by empathizing with their emotions, speaks constantly even in lethal combat, and follows those who fascinate her with dogged curiosity – especially Land, whose clone magic she seeks to understand.
