Sae Chabashira is the female homeroom teacher of Class D in *Classroom of the Elite*. A twenty-eight-year-old Japanese history teacher and former Class D student herself, she carries deep regret from her own failure to reach Class A. Cold, distant, and quietly sadistic, she withholds information from students and initially tries to manipulate Kiyotaka Ayanokoji into advancing her class through lies and threats. After her schemes collapse, she undergoes genuine reform – becoming warmer and confronting her past trauma.
