Honoka Sawada

Honoka Sawada is a 16-year-old female second-year student at Katagiri Senior High School in Horimiya. Clingy and openly in love with Kyoko Hori, she is the only explicitly gay character in the series. She bears a strong resemblance to Izumi Miyamura — her neighbor and initially her love rival — who gradually became a trusted figure in her life. Petite with waist-length black hair and a mole under her left eye, she has mild androphobia and hides behind Miyamura when approached by unfamiliar men. Easily frightened but fiercely loyal, she is slowly learning to trust a wider circle of people.
