Frieren is the protagonist of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, an elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years. Once a member of the Hero Party that defeated the Demon King alongside Himmel the Hero, she now journeys with her apprentice Fern and warrior Stark toward Aureole — the land where souls rest — hoping to speak with Himmel one final time. Known as "Frieren the Slayer" for killing more demons than anyone in history, she is a Great Mage of legendary power who also sleeps until noon, gets eaten by mimic chests, and throws tantrums when called old. Her story is a quiet meditation on time, grief, and learning to cherish fleeting human connections before they are lost forever.
