Banyue is a martial arts master and ancient machine built to suppress the Miasma, now walking the streets of New Eridu with old-world honor and a relentless sense of justice. Strict with his students, gentle with the innocent, and utterly baffled by modern slang and technology. He fears scales, loves spheres, and once had to be fished out of a bay by a salvage vessel — despite being waterproof.
