Akechi Anna is the 14-year-old female leader of the Pretty Cures in *Meitantei Pretty Cure!* and the first purple Cure protagonist. A time traveler from 2027 trapped in 1999, she lives at the CUREtto Detective Agency with her partner Kobayashi Mikuru. Warm-hearted, fiercely honest, and guided by intuition, Anna transforms into Cure Answer to fight the Phantom Thieves who seek to spread lies across Makoto Mirai City. Her signature catchphrase is "Gold-Star!" She carries deep loneliness from being separated from her mother and remains unwaveringly devoted to truth and justice.
