Akane Yanagi

Akane Yanagi is an 18-year-old male student at Katagiri Senior High School and widely considered the most handsome character in Horimiya. With pink hair, a dark undercut, and matching pink eyes, he is gentle, polite, and kind — but terrible in mornings, when his personality inverts completely to vulgar and violent. His eyesight is so poor he is functionally blind without corrective lenses. He forms part of Hori and Miyamura's circle of friends, where he bonds most naturally with Izumi Miyamura and shares a love of manga with Sakura Kono while struggling to bridge the awkward distance with Kakeru Sengoku.
